After the first one I refuse to watch anymore Twilight movies no matter how long my wife withholds sex from me as a punishment. I liked 30 Days of Night so the director is running 50/50 with me.
I might be in the minority but I liked the theatrical version of Daredevil, it wasn't great but fun. The director's cut is an excellent film and I recommend it to everyone. Is it perfect? As long as the playground scene is still in it isn't but it is definitely in my top 5 comic book movies.

I refuse to watch any Twilight films and I thought 30 Days of Night was a waste of 90 minutes.
Director's cut of Daredevil is indeed a much better film. We're not talking about ten minutes cut out, we're talking a whole half hour Fox forced Johnson to excise. There's an entire subplot absent from the theatrical version which completely changes the story.

The whole subplot with Coolio being charged with murder is so good.

One of my wife's friends really got on my nerves with the way she kept trying to push the TWILIGHT movies and books on Patricia. This friend of hers is a woman in her late 40's and childless so my first question is what the hell is she doing reading books intended for teenage girls. So one day she's over at the house and she's going on and on about the most recent movie and I walk by. And she says; "Derrick, you're a writer. Why don't you write something like TWILIGHT?" Me: "If I thought I could make half a billion bucks writing about jailbait trying to decide between necrophilia and bestiality, you bet your sweet ass I would." Patricia said the look on her friend's face was so priceless.
