...then this should make you happy: www.variety.com/article/VR1117993725.html?categoryid=14&cs=1My guess is that after the success of the 're-imagined' BATTLESTAR GALACTICA we're going to be seeing more 70's/80's science fiction TV series given make-overs. Where's my new version of MISFITS OF SCIENCE then, dammit?

Oh, I loved the hell outta MISFITS OF SCIENCE. Way back when Dino Pollard was trying to get his Channel Surf off the ground (fan fiction based on TV shows) I wanted to write either MISFITS OF SCIENCE or A-TEAM. Somebody else, I forget who had dibbed MISFITS OF SCIENCE before me.
It's also interesting that Tim Kring, the creator of HEROES was a co-creator of MISFITS OF SCIENCE. I always point that out to people who knock Tim Kring for jumping onto the current popularity of superheroes on TV and in movies. Tim Kring was trying to bring superheroes to TV back in the 80's.

I don't knock Tim Kring for jumping onto the current popularity of super-heroes...I jump on him for not having an original thought in his head while insisting he never saw a comic book before in his life....

Oh, the Season 3 premiere made it clear Kring doesn't have an original thought in his head. He's a fan of Halloween and The Fly apparently.

He's trying to get a motion picture version going based on his sequel novel.
