There was an Avengers: Galactic Storm arcade game?!?! You mean, a game inspired by that seemingly endless 18,000-issue crossover from Marvel with a Kree-Earth conflict meant to mimic the Gulf War? The one where Captain America offered to resign leadership from the Avengers for all of two pages before changing his mind? That one?!?!
Anyway... I've been a fan of Return to Oz after watching it, of all things, as the CBS Late Night movie (around 2 AM Saturday morning) when I was in high school. It stuck with me then and I didn't forget it (it helped that I had already read some of L. Frank Baum's Oz books, including Ozma of Oz - one of the inspirations for the film). Actually, watching the movie late at night probably made it look even better. One interesting thing - Disney actually paid money to MGM (or whoever owned the studio property at the time) for the rights to use the ruby slippers from the 1939 movie (which were not a Baum creation). That probably didn't do the film any favors when reviewers unfavorably compared the two films.
Something Wicked This Way Comes is another film I really loved during my childhood. This one, though, I haven't watched in years, so I should add it to my Netflix queue. I remember reading Bradbury's novel a couple of years ago and being surprised to learn that the book is somewhat different in a few respects (especially the ending).

It was done in a very primitive CGI 3d shading and featured eight characters--four Avengers and four villians. You also got to choose a striker character who you could call in at key points to hit your opponent. My favorite of these was Giant Man, who'd grow to Giant Size, grab your opponent and squeeze him repeatedly. It apparently never got a very wide release, and is a little bit, ummm, crap. You can look at a typical game session at www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQJk8OhAGoMWarning...the narrator gets real annoying real fast....

We're got a rather large slate of episodes we have to do that stretch all the way back to 2006 first. But it will get done eventually; maybe you can join us for it once we've got it scheduled?

Oh, I understand and I may just be able to join you when you do get to it.
