I just saw this and I agree with everything Tom said. Great film, although nothing new from Smith and I also wonder why he didn't set it in the View Askewniverse because it would have fit in perfectly.
Did anyone else stay after the credits? There's an additional scene at the end about Zack and Miri's future that's really good.

I didn't stay through all of the credits--nightmares of that endless 'thank you' list from Clerks II were dancing in my head--but I saw the tag on DVD. It was hilarious. I particularly like the way Zack and Miri solved the 'who should take whose name?' situation.

There was a thank you list in this film, but it came after that scene and it was much shorter. I really dug the thank you list from Clerks II, though, I thought it was entertaining.

But then again, I have no problem with CLERKS II at all. One of the few comedies I've seen that kept me laughing from beginning to end.

I've gotten in a few arguments about this lately, but Clerks II is my favorite of Smith's movies. It was a pretty emotional movie while still being completely hysterical and no matter how many times I've watched it, I never cease to laugh my ass off.
