1) The book Modesty fought The Siamese Twins was the second book Sabre Tooth. The gimmicks with these two was that they were surgically separated, but being so drove them insane. so they were connected by a leather strap. And they HATE each other, as in one would really like to kill the other, but don't because the survivor would go insane.
2) O'Donnell didn't want anyone else writing Modesty after his death or his retirement, so in his last book COBRA TRAP, he gave Modesty cancer and then had someone shoot her. Willie he just shot. Talk about making sure...
There are other thing that I wanted to comment on from the podcast, but I can't remember what they were. I was commuting and couldn't take notes. I'll listen again and write further.

I vaguely remember reading COBRA TRAP. Found it in a Greenwich Village used book store ages ago. Damn if I know what happened to it. It might still be in storage with all the other books and comics I have no room for here.
I seem to dimly remember that the story ended with Modesty and Willie in Heaven. Or their idea of Heaven. Whatever.

Me again. Apologies for being pedantic, but being a Modesty Geek, I couldn't help it 1) It's not The Stunner, its The Stopper 2) Modesty and Willie never had sex, not even for a caper. Modesty offered once - in The Xanadu Talisman - but Willie turned her down. It has to do with how he sees and feels about her. 3) Blaise was Merlin's teacher. The Old Man picked Modesty as a joke; she never had any modesty before or while they were together, so he gave her some

Re: the Tarrantino Blaise picture, that's a fascinating DVD with all the extras where they talk to O'Donnell and you hear QT enthuse on the character. But they really put a shine on the movie itself, which was clearly a low-rent placeholder in case they later wanted to do something with the property. Before that though, I'd heard for some time that QT wanted to cast Natasha Henstridge in the role.
