I haven't been able to confirm this yet, but according to a friend of mine who swears he read it online somewhere, ABC is going to give STARSKY & HUTCH a reboot as well. In a way, I believe this because it has been confirmed ABC is rebooting CHARLIE'S ANGELS so ABC could be going for a nostalgia angle and might put them on a Wednesday night. The same night the original shows aired.
It was almost a foregone conclusion that once HAWAII FIVE-O hit big that the networks were going to dig up more old shows to reboot. Some I actually wouldn't mind seeing. A new version of Stephen J. Cannell's RIPTIDE would be fun.

The fact that these people are claiming that Jim Rockford is the equivilent of Gregory House makes me think that there's no hope whatsoever that this will turn out good. Notice how this didn't get greenlit until after Cannell died, btw--I can just imagine him bringing down Hell on this project if he was alive... And, oddly enough, I'm cool with a Wild, Wild West reboot--the concept is high enough that they can do something new and original with it, and it can help wash the bad taste out of the Guber/Peters movie..
