This brings me way down. This is the best written WONDER WOMAN arc that I have ever read. I actually look forward to this one every month. Shit!!! And, though I am not so crazy with the decision to have Superman wander America for a year or more, I have enjoyed that title, as well. Straczynski has a solid grasp on the Superman that I grew up with in the '60s and '70s. AND...I've especially dug his work on THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD, with that boss artist whose name is escaping my stoned mind right now.

Too bad, I was really enjoying his Superman work.
Although it's interesting why he left -- not because of creative differences or any sort of bad blood -- just because he wants to only focus on graphic novels. I wonder if we'll see him do some original graphic novels for Vertigo.

What I've heard is that sales on SUPERMAN: EARTH ONE went through the roof and that's why Straczynski quit doing the monthly books.
