Derrick and I were talking about how to make this year's Halloween stuffage specail, and it brought a question to mind:
Would you prefer two of our full length episodes--one on a horror related subject, the other our annual Suggestions one, or;
Two shorter episodes on horror subjects lasting a half hour or forty-five minutes with the full length Suggestions show on Halloween weekend, or:
a number of shorter episodes built around a Halloween theme that are roughtly fifteen minutes to a half hour in length, with the full length Suggestion show on Halloween weekend, or;
expand and explode the Suggestion episode into a 'countdown' series of shorter episodes lasting fifteen minutes or so, with the final episode appearing on Halloween proper?

I'd prefer one of the first two options. I like Better in the Dark (and most talk podcasts, for that matter) at least a half hour long.

The first idea or the last idea sounds good to me.

I think a NoES review episode for Halloween would be keen. Or maybe an episode about TV horror shows like Tales From the Crypt, Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Freddy's Nightmare, Friday the 13th... The one about the movies could be extra long and the TV one done 15 a piece. It's hardfor me to say as I just take what I get.
