I just remembered something else. Nickelodeon released the first two seasons of The Adventures of Pete and Pete on DVD. The company placed the third (and last) season on their release schedule...and then pulled it. There's no explanation that I know of, but I'd guess low sales of the first two had something to do with it.
Now, the last season of the show wasn't quite as good as the first two, but it would still be nice to have the entire series on DVD. Sheesh.

Okay, I thought about this a bit more.
I'd definitely be interested in a DVD set of the first season of Eerie, Indiana (Joe Dante directed several episodes, and I believe he had a hand in creating the show).
Something fairly obscure - there was a 1972 series on (I think) ABC, titled [glow=red,2,300]Ghost Story[/glow].
Yep, it was a suspense/horror anthology. I watched one episode of the show once when I was a kid (many years later - this was a late night rerun). It was an episode titled "Graveyard Shift" (according to IMDB - I didn't remember this) with John Astin. I've never forgotten it, and I would definitely be interested in seeing it again, and watching other episodes of the show (according to IMDB, there was only 13 of them).
Of course, in lieu of DVD, these shows could just be made available on Hulu.com.

James,
Eerie, Indiana is available on DVD.
My short list:
Batman Misfits of Science Now & Again Journeyman Probe (an 80s series starring Parker Stevenson)

Ahhhhhh, yes...that comic book-y show, complete with code names and other comic book conventions from the 80's created by the asswipe Tim Kring, who claims never to have read a comic book even though he's married to a comic book artist. I liked the show, but these days I just want to punch the guy repeatedly in the face for his hypocracy. grumblemutterA lot of people refused to watch this series, claiming it was a Quantum Leap rip-off. I think it was thoroughly unfair (Hell, I think it was overall better acted that QL ever was), as it took its characters down different paths. I loved it--although, thanks to some last-minute manuverings by NBC I never saw the last few episodes. Did the producers wrap everything up as promised?

The thing is, I haven't seen an episode since the original airing. I missed its run on Sci-Fi many moons back. I get the feeling I'd get the DVD set and be disappointed as it wouldn't hold up with the fuzzy memories I have. Journeyman did wrap things up in a way that brought things full circle with the first time travel event from the first episode. It didn't resolve everything, especially with the former girlfriend's storyline, but it did end on a nice note. I was satisfied.

That was one of my favorite twists--that Olivia was a Journeyman (Journeywoman?) who was moving forward rather than backwards through time. I think it's so unfortunate that the series became a casualty of the Writer's Strike. I suspect it might have gained quite a following if allowed to have a full season's run.

Brimstone is right at the top of my list. Such an awesome show with great potential, but since it was on Fox, it got the shaft.

It looks like we'll be recording this episode on Friday...so if anyone has any other series to add to this list, please do. The final third of the show, as it's planned now, will cover shows from this thread.

Cliffhangers. Dracula, wild west sci-fi, and another story I wasn't interested in. Fun stuff!

Cliffhangers. Dracula, wild west sci-fi, and another story I wasn't interested in. Fun stuff! That was "Get Susan Williams!," an adventure serial starring then-big model Susan Anton. I think once we get around to recording the episode you'll be very pleased, as a certain someone has this show on his list for focusing on....
