Has anybody noticed that the most recent episodes of BitD are timing out when you download them from iTunes? I'm having the same problem with The Chronic Rift and the only link I see is that we both use Podomatic.

I'm having the same problem with The Chronic Rift and the only link I see is that we both use Podomatic. This is the kind of shenanigans that prompted us to pull the trigger on switch to libsyn.

On iTunes I've had the same problems with BitD, Chronic Rift, SModcast and Views From the Longbox. Which are basically all the podcasts I have. I've had to hit that damned "Get" button a few times per download lately.

That's nothing. Right before I moved to Libsyn, I couldn't even get the episode uploaded.

That's nothing. Right before I moved to Libsyn, I couldn't even get the episode uploaded. I don't have problems regarding uploading with podomatic--but sometimes I have to try a few times before success. And the last straw for me was when they lost over half the episodes and told me it was my responsibility to re-upload the lot.

And the last straw for me was when they lost over half the episodes and told me it was my responsibility to re-upload the lot. Oh, you actually got a reply from them? It took nearly two weeks between emails, Twitter, and the forum because that damned phone number for their special Pro customers gives you a message saying email us, before I finally got an email saying, "Try this guy." I'm only staying with them for now as they screwed up and refunded my money like I asked for the Pro account, but never shunted me back to Basic. I know the other shoe will drop once the racoon that does their books (it's a badger who handles the tech) figures it out. I have a new setup ready to go, but I figure I might as well take advantage of it for as long as I can since they screwed me over.

They never offered to refund our money for the infamous 'Ooops, We Lost Episodes 1-31' debacle, but offered a month at the highest level instead (I turned it down because a month at the top still means you have to go back down to the middle once that month is over). I have never been happy with Podomatic, and am looking forward with glee writing the e-mail where I tell them their services will no longer be needed.

My iTunes won't find the new episode for download. I have the same problem. I downloaded the episode from the Podomatic page, so it wasn't a problem (though the episode won't scrobble onto my LastFM account, the way it does when I download it from iTunes).

I've been looking for days for it. I think it's safe to conclude that BitD isn't on iTunes anymore. However it got on there to begin with is gonna have to be done again.

The weird thing is I never went through the process of registering the podcast with BiTD. I find iTunes such a henious thing that I didn't want to support it way back when....

So this morning I log into Podomatic to check on the download situation with the current episode and I'm greeted with a message saying welcome to my new home page. They Facebooked it up! The fucktards couldn't be bothered to answer any of my service requests via emails, phone calls, or forums posts, but they had time to fucking Facebook the site?
I'm still with them as I'm still on a free ride getting Pro services for nothing as they refunded my money but never switched me back to basic, but when the year is up I'm so out of there.

John...since I started the switch to libsyn, I've had only one problem with them that they corrected within a few hours of my pointing it out, they have always replied to my questions promptly, and they have never been less than courteous. When they decided recently to change their pricing structure, raising monthly fees by a very small amount( our monthly price went from 10 to 12 dollars), they let us know almost a month in advance. It's like night and day as opposed to dealing with Podomatic... Come...join us on the other side...lol.... (Incidentally--has anyone had any problems iTuning the libsyn episodes?)
